In Memoriam

Sandra M. Good, 67, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday,
October 18, after a
long, courageous fight against lung cancer. At her side
were her husband of10 years,
Jordan Good, and her children,
Josh Miller, 39, of New York, and her daughter, Rachel Miller, 37, of San Diego.

Sandi was born June 10, 1940, in North Hollywood, to Ralph and Mary Catherine
Marshall. While atNorth Hollywood High, Sandi was a cheerleader, on the Girl’s
Court, andparticipated in The Rose Parade. She also met Jordan,
who, 35 years later, would become her second husband and soul mate.

She was a Bruin Bell at UCLA, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in 1962. Sandi later r
eceived aMasters degree in Special Education, and taught public school for 25 years,
includingWestlake High School in itsinaugural years. She received another Masters
degree in Marriageand Family Therapy from CLU, and held a private
practice in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village for 20 years,
serving as apsychotherapist for couples, families and children. She
became a pillar of the community; a leader of multicultural groups
and a respected mentor and elder in the women’s community.

Sandi will be remembered as a dear, loyal and trusted friend, as well as a beloved wife,
loving mother, generous teacher, renowned therapist, and more recently, a proud and doting “Grammie”.

Her strength and eternal optimism was contagious, as was her indiscriminating generosity,
kindness and warmth. She was adored by anyone who came in contact with her.

We deeply mourn our loss, but we are blessed to have had her in our lives.
